On the top side, Chug’s pedigree is loaded with fantastic horses that include Meradas Little Sue, Smart Lil Ricochet, Smart Little Lena, Freckles Playboy, Zan Parr Bar, Two Eyed Jack, and Zippo Pine Bar. His Grandsire, Ricochets Sue, has over $21,000 in lifetime earnings in the NCHA and has an NCHA Certificate of Ability. Smart Lil Ricochet is a $3.8 million sire, a 1997 NCHA Open Futurity Semi-Finalist, and the sire of Im Countin Checks who has $514,000 + in NCHA lifetime earnings. Chugs have been started from the ground and will soon be working under saddle. He has excellent ground manners and even leads without a halter. He stands very well for hoof care. From the ground, He pivots fore and hind, side passes, and backs when asked. He lounges very well at the walk, trot, and canter, and gives to pressure well. His training has been delayed this summer because he has been putting on a lot of growth and he is just shy of being big enough to safely cinch.
